ACLU Suing NYC (again) for Random Subway Searches

In light of the recent credible terrorist threats to the New York City Subway system, part of me wants to be surprised by this recent article, but the realist in me is not. Yes, the most anti-American organization in this country is once again announcing it is going to sue New York City officials over the random searches of individuals in the subway system.

This case has not yet been brought before the court. However, if the ACLU had already won this case, the 19 suspected terrorist American officials are searching for right now, could have already been allowed to simply walk onto our New York City trains and detonate their bombs.

The ACLU must not be allowed to win this lawsuit or others like it.

I couldn't agree more! The only thing I disagree with the New York City authorities about is the "random" searches. Why random? Why 40-year-old white men in 3-piece suits? Why little old gray-hairs in wheelchairs? Why not Middle-Eastern men in their 20s and 30s, carrying backpacks or wearing heavy coats in warm weather?

Let's inject some serum of truth here. This intel came from two Al Qaeda operatives that were recently captured, and the information was replete with such specificity that it warranted partial evacuation of the subway system. Now, subsequent to that intel and the searches, I believe at least 4 other Al Qaeda operatives have been taken into custody in Iraq, as they have some link to this plot (which MSNBC's Olbermann called "alleged"). This plot was so specific that it indicated 19 separate operatives were going to spread out in the subway system and detonate IEDs in briefcases secreted in things like baby carriages, etc.

I don't know about you all, but my first suspicion was, "19.... hm... 19.. why is that number familiar?" We all know that this pseudo-religion is driven by sybolism and world-reaction. They followed up the mostly-failed attack on the WTC of 1993 with a devastating one on 9/11. Well, guess how many hijackers finally wound up being involved in that? 19!!!! So, if you can, put yourself in their feeble little minds... "okay, we attacked successfully finally on American soil on 9/11 with 19 of our jihadists... BY AIR! So, let's do it THIS time '19 on the ground'!" Make sense to you? Makes perfect sense to me. 19 from the air, 19 on the ground... decimate our soil top to bottom.

Again, the article goes on to so correctly point out:

"With the current, very real, terrorist threat to the New York Subway System, the truth could not be any clearer. The terrorists must be stopped at any cost or we may see the loss of many American lives right here in New York," said Don Swarthout, President of Christians Reviving America's Values.

The ACLU seems to be confused according to Swarthout. "Let's get it right, it is really quite simple, you are either for the criminals or you are for the law abiding citizens. Apparently the ACLU is more interested in protecting the rights of terrorist than they are in protecting the rights of law abiding American citizens."

"We believe that the ACLU's abuse of the legal system is criminal. For that reason Christians Reviving America's Values has already drafted a letter to Congress asking them to investigate the ACLU, their policies and their true intentions," Swarthout said.

I couldn't have said it better...
