American Criminal Liberties Union

Well, folks... get ready for it. A federal judge has ordered the release of 74 additional photos from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. Another victory for the ACLU. When are we ever going to get it right, and start calling this organization by the name it so richly deserves and has earned - the "Anti-American Criminal Liberties Union"?

By all accounts, the mainstream media dedicated more time to Abu Ghraib than they did the liberation of Fallujah. Yet, with the release of these new pictures, reportedly redacted to a certain extent, and allegedly nothing "different" than the original photos, it will once again be "All Abu Ghraib, All the Time TV." I just hope everyone is prepared. This judge has some record!

According to the story, "U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein said that terrorists "do not need pretexts for their barbarism" and that suppressing the pictures would amount to submitting to blackmail."

Submitting to blackmail? I don't call it "blackmail submission" if we are protecting our interests at home (against the Looney Left) and abroad (against the Islamofascist jihadists and Euro-Weenies alike). What more does this judge, or the ACLU, think we will learn from these photos? And why is the ACLU so interested? I didn't see them moving in to demand the Capitol Police pull up the hundreds of white crosses that "Jihad" Cindy Sheehan placed on federal property during her D.C. anti-war protest by the mindless masses on the Left, yet they are so willing to step in and demand we take the 10 Commandments out of our courthouses!??

If that lunatic judge thinks the release of these photos will NOT incense the terrorists, he must live on the same planet with Cindy! No, wait.. maybe he goes up to the "Mother Wheel" to confer with Louie Farrakhan!?? These photos will do exactly what he says they won't, and it will be all to the glee of the liberals. Isn't that sad? It is apodictic that the Left is probably celebrating this latest ruling, and to me, folks, that is absolutely ghoulish. I can't help but picture Dan Rather standing up and cheering when he heard this news, knowing his National Guard story failed so miserably, thanks to the blogosphere, even though he still believes it to be true in his sick, twisted mind.

Yes, there will be more bloodshed; yes, there will be more innocent contractors killed, tortured & hung from bridges; and yes, I dare predict, there may even be more kidnappings and sawing-off of heads to be played on AlJazeera when this happens. And the fault for this will fall only at the feet of this judge and the ACLU. What is it going to take to stop this maniacal organization?

If so many Democrats really believe that the U.S. Government should base its decisions based on International Law, what would they think if they knew what kind of "reception" the ACLU (or a similar organization) would get in the U.K.? PM Tony Blair would have none of it, and would dress them down oh-so-eloquently.

The actions of the ACLU have done more harm to America's interests than has the United Nations (well, it's a close tie on this one). They are perhaps the single most dangerous organization in this country. We need a strong, united stand to face this brutal "regime" called the ACLU. We can only hope and pray that the appeal of Hellerstein's ruling is successful. Until then.... bend over and grab your ankles! This ain't gonna be pretty...

By the way... if you care, you might want to write or call the (dis)Honorable Judge himself!

The "Ronnie Earle" Movie - Coming Soon!

Well, isn't this just special? "Ronnie Earle has given a film crew "extraordinary access" to make a motion picture about his work on the case." If ever I've seen motive, this is it! And it should send up red flags to everybody, but not to the Libs. This fits right along with their playbook rules; If you can't get Bush, go at everybody and anybody else who can "hurt" the Republican party!

Democrats would call this "freedom of expression," but what about their views of the horrific idea of "capitalism?" (You don't think that Ronnie Earle would be involved in this movie for free now, do you?) Now that Tom DeLay is out and about defending himself, and rightfully telling the truth about the history of Earle's mission in life to "get DeLay," why are the Libs still screaming about him? I seem to remember a little matter of some Classified Intelligence Documents winding up in the trousers, socks, and elsewhere of Sandy "Pants" Berger! Did we hear anything from the Left about that blatant criminal offense? Well, no we didn't. In fact, I find it suspiciously amazing that now the ABLE Danger group is coming out, it's starting to shed a little light on Berger's possible motives for being in there, taking those unknown documents and admitting to destroying them, JUST before the "9/11 Commission" hearings. But, did we ever hear much about THAT in the MSM? No, we didn't; except that he lost his security clearance for a while. We all know this because there are two sets of rules: One for the Republicans, and an entirely different set for the Democrats!

This conspiracy charge against Tom DeLay is nothing but monkey business on the part of Ronnie Earle. The indictment CLEARLY gives no factual evidence of criminal intent on DeLay's part, and criminal intent MUST be proved in a court of law! But, OH the Left is reveling in this as if they've found leverage for the '06 elections! This ain't gonna happen, folks. Might this be their "holy grail" for which they've long hoped for since they lost their bid to oust Karl Rove or smear Dick Cheney? Probably not. These conspiracy allegations are based on what he could have done, might have done, but don't really know if he DID do. Conspiracy merely says that someone might have been a part of a criminal enterprise, but criminal intent MUST be proven by the prosecutor; theft of secret documents is an undisputed criminal offense!

As Byron York points out:

"The film, according to the description, "follows maverick Austin DA Ronnie Earle's investigation into what really happened when corporate money joined forces with relentless political ambitions to help swing the pivotal 2002 Texas elections, cementing Republican control from Austin to Washington DC."

"We approached him [Earle], and he offered us extraordinary access to him and, to an extent, to his staff," Birnbaum told National Review Online Thursday. "We've been shooting for about two years."
Now, knowing that Earle has long been aware as of what his intentions were for the future (to get DeLay). Would you expect anything less than allowing a film crew to follow you on your "life's mission?" Of course not. Will this movie get any play? Probably not, because it could reveal Earle's exact motive for pursuing DeLay in the first place.

Again, what we have here in a vehement hatred for the Republican party, and an immense desire to do ANYTHING to "hurt Bush." I wonder if this just means that Hollyweird has realized that they can't sway public opinion by their political rantings, so now they've had to resort back to the older standard.. ."MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT IT and call it a documentary!"

Oh, and did I mention the name of the movie? It's called "The Big Buy." I could think of MANY more politicians, including Clinton, sKerry, Gov. Blanco, and a cast of a thousand others to which this would more aptly apply. Good thing we know going in who this movie is "about." Otherwise, we might make incorrect but appropriate assumptions.

Can you say "Would you like to spend the night in the Lincoln Bedroom? Really, it won't cost THAT much and it IS nice!!" That depends on what your definition of "is" is.

The IFC Gets its Just Desserts!

This is the BEST news I've heard in a long time! According to the "Take Back the Memorial" newsletter, the "Museum Dropped From WTC Site for Now." From the article:

"NEW YORK -- Bowing to pressure from furious Sept. 11 families,
Gov. George Pataki on Wednesday removed a proposed freedom center from the space reserved for it near the planned World Trade Center memorial, saying
the museum project had aroused "too much opposition, too much controversy."

Pataki initially said the state would help the International Freedom Center find
another home, but center officials said they weren't interested and considered
the project dead.

The decision followed months of acrimony, with some Sept. 11 families and
politicians saying that such a museum would overshadow and take space from
a separate memorial devoted to the 2,749 World Trade Center dead and
would dishonor them by fostering debate about the attacks and other world events.

"Freedom should unify us. This center has not," Pataki said. "Today there
remains too much opposition, too much controversy over the programming of
the IFC. ... We must move forward with our first priority, the creation of an
inspiring memorial to pay tribute to our lost loved ones and tell their stories
to the world."

This is the BEST news I've heard today in this world of Political Correctness gone HAYWIRE!

Cowboy Up!

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days; my PC has been giving me fits (I think it's a Liberal!). I will be back tomorrow and post some random, intemperate thoughts of the past few days' happenings. Until then, keep the faith, and please keep coming back!

In the meantime, thought I'd inject a little humor here.

(Too bad Clinton didn't accept the offer for UBL from the Sudan, even when it was offered on a silver platter!)

Cindy the "Media Darling"

I saw the images today from the debacle that IS "Jihad" Cindy Sheehan and her fellow Sheehanites.

(see Michael Malkin today for her latest Flickr site photos of the protest - Video at Bare Knuckle Politics)

It pains me
that these officers had to actually go "hands on" with her to get her in custody. I hope they got to go to a portable decontaminating shower after this incident. Her smile tells me everything (and something else I don't want to picture) I need to know about what this means to her. This is the moment she's been waiting for. Even after her 15 minutes of fame have expired, she's FINALLY gotten the photo op she's wanted! The fascist pig cops of D.C. are repressing her rights to "free speech." Maybe Martha Stewart can give her a few "helpful hints" about how to spruce up her jail cell! (Then somebody needs to do an Ambush Makeover, for God's sake, because she needs help!)

Ever since she was first down in Crawford, TX, she said she only wanted to meet with the President; that if he would meet with her, she would quietly go away and "all of this would stop." Well, that was a crock, and everybody knew it. If Pres. Bush would have had daily tea with her during her weeks of the "Occupation of Crawford," it would have still turned out the same. Plus, we would have gotten some kind of hidden-camera exclusive of her berating the President, all the while he would have to have sat there and bit his lip.

No, that's not really what Cindy wanted. She told Chris Matthews (and others) on MSNBC's "Hardball" that it would be in her best interest if the President did NOT meet with her. In her exact words, she said "it would diffuse some of the momentum we have going here." So all of this hooey of her followers and Hollyweirdos who kept asking "Why won't Bush just meet with her?" was AND is a load of cow squeeze.

It's reported that as Cindy was being handcuffed today, her myrmidons were chanting "THE WORLD IS WATCHING, THE WORLD IS WATCHING!" Yes, I'm sure Musab Al Zarqawi WAS glued to his satellite TV and cheering, as surely this woman will "crush the infidel, Bush!" Both Zarqawi and Jihad Cindy live in a fantasy land that is inhabited by a strange mix of creatures. They seem to get a lot of sad, lonely, nothing-else-to-do people to follow their mantra blindly, and ultimately to their own demise. It's already circulating today that Cindy's selfishness about the hurricanes getting more limelight than she is, is beginning to rub even some of the most leftist websites the wrong way (the DailyKos, as reported by MichelleMalkin.com). They have been allowing her to post, but even there, she's wearing out her welcome. We all knew this would happen if we just laid back and waited.

Funny how just before this rally began this past Saturday, all the notable Democrats in D.C. left town for "other commitments," while only some members of the Black Political Caucus, Georgia's own little jihadist, Cynthia McKinney, and Jesse Jackson remained to castigate the majority of America who support the troops, our President, and this country. (Yes, I said "majority." And don't try to feed me any B.S. , either, about what the polls show, because polls merely reflect people's opinions & beliefs based on what they see in the mainstream media... and we ALL know how fair the alphabet stations can be! That's too much to even be classified as a "margin of error!")

I tried to watch the event of Saturday, but listening to Cindy squeal into the microphone in her sycophantic, nasal, whiny tone about how evil and emperialistic this country is, reminded me too much of some of Hillary's recent screaming diatribes on the Senate floor, that my stomach wouldn't tolerate too much of it. Both women are shrill, obnoxious, and their rants are akin to fingers being slowly drug down on a chalkboard.

Now of course you Libs are going to bash me for saying this... I watched the Pro-America rally on Sunday, and it was a breath of fresh air. The speakers had positive, upbeat things to say about this country, and the majority of them had or have had personal experience in the growth of this nation as a free nation; either by fighting for this country, or having lost loved ones in the fight for Freedom. It was especially wonderful to see several Iraqi citizens get up to speak and talk about how much they owed their lives to our brave men & women who have served, and some who gave the ultimate sacrifice. They promised that our sacrifices will not be in vain, and that President Bush is a "great man" for having the strength to stand up against Saddam Hussein.

Most on the Left do not understand the historic significance of the Iraqi people getting to vote (http://adamkeiper.blogs.com/compare video/files/Iraq_Election.wmv), because all of their lives, the Left has had the right to vote, while our annual turnout for elections is shamefully low. It's obvious that all Americans take this privilege for granted, but the Iraqis showed us how proud we should be to HAVE this right. They actually outdid us in percentages - and all under the threat of being kidnapped then having their heads sawn off to be broadcast on Al Jazeera! (And the Dems in this country say that poor black people are "disenfranchised" and being kept from the polls because they have to show photo IDs??? What a load of crap that is! Try voting under the threat of death! Now that is TRUE "voter disenfranchisement," yet they did it in SPITE of the odds; not BECAUSE of the odds!)

I can't say it any better than did G. Gordon Liddy yesterday.. he said that if Cindy truly believes that "this country is not worth dying for, why doesn't she go over to North Korea" and see if Kim Jong "Lunatic" will put up with that load of crap? I dare say if she did that, no journalist would even be able to find her to stick a microphone and/or camera in her face. Maybe that's where the saying "dead men tell no tales" comes from... ??

Gold Star Families @ Rally to Honor Our Troops

Folks, I got up today and turned on the television. The TRUE Gold Star Families were speaking out loudly and proudly about the service of their sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers and mothers. I was so deeply moved to see this, and contrasted against the maniacal rants of Jihad Cindy Sheehan that I watched (painfully so) last night.

One Gold Star father said something simple yet so profound that I stood up and cheered. In ending his time on the podium, he said he had a message for all the anti-war, anti-America idiots out there protesting.

"Cindy lies, Casey cries!"

I would bet that he is not speaking too far from the truth. I wonder why Cindy won't read her last letter from her son to us, as so many other family members have today? I heard a lot of folks"Huuah!" in the crowd today, and it made me feel so proud of my country.

One observation I made today is it seems the pro-America supporters seem much more calm, together, and resolute, compared to the dirty, rag-tag, disheveled bunch that are always protesting AGAINST the war and this country!

God Bless the USA!

Cindy's Jihad on D.C.

It's become painfully obvious that Cindy Sheehan's war on D.C. has gone way beyond demanding a conversation with President Bush. Today at the the anti-war (anti-American) rally in D.C., afer her lengthy diatribe against the Bush Administration, her followup speakers spoke volumes.

First up was Nancy Wolforth who is the VP of the AFL-CIO, and all she could talk about was Halluburton. She said that if the troops were not in Iraq, they could be in the Gulf Coast helping the poor blacks to evacuate from that region.

Then was Josh Ruhnon (sp?), who spoke for the end of "the Israeli occupation" of the Arab nations! Wait a minute.... I thought this was about Cindy's long-lost son, Casey???

Oh, then yes.. next up was the pre-eminent British MP George Galloway, who thinks he can bloviate about what we Americans need to do to protect ourselves.

If I had a dime for every time I heard "Halliburtin," "Karl Rove," "No WMDs," "No-bid contracts," "racism," etc., I'd be a rich person. Galloway says George Bush is sending them to be killed for a "pack of lies," but who is he to dictate American policies? He wants the world to be free, but he's obviously not seen the weely Al Qaeda missive about how valiant Katrina was at killing the "homosexual" permissive lands of the United States.

Link: http://switch5.castup.net/frames/20041020_MemriTV_Popup/video_480x360.asp?ClipMediaID=81888&ak=null

Yes, they blame the homosexual lifestyles of America for the wrath of Katrina, and call Katrina a soldier of Allah! Do the Libs think that the Islamofasicsts would spare them because they are "peace-loving?" Yeah, like Islam is SUCH a peace-loving religion itself!!!

There will only be peace through superior firepower... and the Cindy Sheehans, Jane Fondas, etc., of this country that, given the chance, will be our undoing. Republicans must stand up and unite! We are the "silent majority" that has been previously described.

Personal Responsibility & Taxes

There is no such thing as the "less fortunate." UNfortunate, maybe, but not "less" fortunate. That implies that those who are successful in life merely came by their success ouf of sheer luck. And those who don't succeed, well, that's just their bad luck. That's B.S.

A person who wins the Mega Millions is "fortunate;" a person who wins a $2 scratch-off ticket is "less fortunate." Get the picture?

Also, poverty is a behavioral condition, not a circumstance. In other words, poverty, or being "poor," is a choice. You are where you are in your life (as am I) ONLY because of the choices you have made. You can either be a participant in life, or you can let it pass you by; either way, "life happens."

Everybody should get on board with "The Fair Tax" revolution! Get the IRS out of your life and get behind this legislation SB25! Support Neal Boortz & GA Congressman John Linder's book "The Fair Tax." Keep 100% of your paycheck, and ensure that everyone pays their fair share into the system at the consumption level.
